Christian Huygens

Christiaan Huygens was a Dutch mathematician, astronomer, and physicist best known for his astronomical discoveries, including the rings of the planet Saturn and Saturn's largest satellite, Titan. He was the inventor of the pendulum clock, and his work in mechanics became the basis for some of Isaac Newton's laws of motion.
